The access and use of this website requires you to have reached the legal drinking age in your country of residence.

The use of the Website implies the unconditional acceptance of the Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”). The users who do not accept the Terms are kindly asked to immediately logout from the Website.  

The editor of the Website reserves itself the right to modify the Terms at any given time and without notice. The modification will take effect as soon as they are published online. We advise you to regularly consult the Terms in order to take knowledge of such potential modifications.  

The use of the Website is reserved to a private usage. You undertake to not use the Website and its data to other ends, in particular commercial.  

Unless indicated otherwise, the products and services presented on the Website do not constitute a sales offer, but rather a general presentation of the product line and services distributed by the RCI in the country in which the Website is published.  

 

The Website is developed for and published by REMY COINTREAU INTERNATIONAL, whose registered whose registered office is at 152 Beach Road #33-01 Gateway East, Singapore 189721  (hereinafter referred to as “RCI”).    

 

 

The below terms and conditions of sales apply to any product offered for purchase on this Website.

 

A) LEGAL CAPACITY

1. You must be eighteen (18) years of age or over to purchase goods or services from RCI.

2. Any Order and/or purchase made by you is an acknowledgement by you that:

a) You are over the age of twenty (18) years,

b) You accept these Terms,

c) You agree that you have entered into a legal contract with RCI in relation to these Terms, and

d) These Terms, together with your Order, constitute the entire agreement between you and RCI for the supply of goods or services

RCI reserves the right to take legal action and seek compensation from the parent or guardian of a minor ordering a product, for any loss or damage of any kind.

 

B) ORDER, PRICE and PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

  1. Subject to you complying with these Terms, acceptance of your Order by RCI and full payment of your Order, RCI will sell and supply the goods or services to you as shown on your Order confirmation.
  2. Products availability: please note some references are limited edition and would only be available until stocks last. RCI cannot be held responsible for not being able to supply products out of stocks.
  3. Unless otherwise stated by RCI, the price of the Goods shall be the price set out in the RCI’s published price list in force as at the date of the Delivery. Some Goods may be personalized, such services will be subject to additional costs requiring a prior written approval from the Customer. 
  4. The price of the Goods is exclusive of amounts in respect of any tax (including but not limited to Value Added Tax (VAT)) or duty chargeable on the supply or import or export of the Goods (Tax). Tax will be charge by the RCI to the Customer and payable at Order confirmation.
  5. RCI will invoice the Customer at confirmation of Order and Customer shall pay immediately the invoice in full and in cleared funds to confirm the Order. Payment shall be made by Credit Card to RCI’s bank account. Time of payment is of the essence.
  6. If the Customer disputes any invoice or other monies due, it shall promptly notify RCI in writing (and in any event before the due date for payment of such invoice).
  7. The parties shall negotiate in good faith to attempt to resolve amicably the dispute.
  8. The good(s) that you have ordered may be out-of-stock. RCI shall notify you within one (1) to five (5) business days of receipt of your Order, and you may cancel your Order (in full or in part in respect of those ordered goods which are out-of-stock) without charge. RCI will refund you in full or in part of your Order (or such part thereof) cancelled. “Business day” means Monday to Friday.
  9. If the goods that you have ordered are in stock, RCI endeavours to deliver your Order between four (4) and (15) fifteen business days from the date of your Order. If your Order is large or bulky, RCI may contact you by telephone or email to arrange with you a suitable time for delivery. For limited edition or personalised item, delivery is to be advised by RCI.
  10. Time of delivery is not the essence of these Terms. Delivery dates are estimates only, RCI is not liable for any failure to deliver the Order (or any part thereof) within the specified time as a result of processing, shipment, delivery or other delays, whether from our warehouse, suppliers, third party delivery or other vendors.
  11. When you complete your Order you will be prompted to select to have the Order delivered to an address specified by you. The delivery address must be an address within Singapore. The delivery address cannot be a freight forwarding location nor a PO Box.
  12. You must advise at the time you place your Order or latest when you discuss delivery with RCI, of any difficulties that may be involved in the delivery (such as stairs or narrow entries). If you fail to do so and the delivery contractor deems it to be a difficult location to carry out his delivery, you will be liable for any extra charges including redelivery fees and the cost of an extra person to assist.
  13. You must be available in person to accept delivery of the Order on any pre-arranged delivery date at address so specified. If there is no one available to accept such delivery, you will be charged for storage, transport and re-delivery costs.
  14. Should you arrange your own delivery or collection, the goods become your full responsibility upon collection from RCI.
  15. If you wish to change the delivery date or delivery address, you must contact the Customer Service Team at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the dispatch of your Order at the following email address: clientsupport.sg@remy-cointreau.com

 

C) RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

  1. All products purchased from RCI are non-refundable.
  2. Products purchased are not available for return and/or exchange.
  3. In accordance with clause D, return of damaged goods can be organised by RCI only your notification to us at clientsupport.sg@remy-cointreau.com. RCI will contact you and indicate the correct process for replacement of the damaged item.

 

D) INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE
You are required to inspect your Order upon delivery. You will be required to note any damage on the delivery documentation which is presented to you by the delivery person for signature and take pictures. In all other cases, you will be required to notify us in writing of any damage on delivery, providing us with evidence within seven (7) days of delivery. We will not be liable for any damage on delivery to any of the goods unless we are notified within the time period specified above.

 

E) Intellectual property 

The intellectual property rights attached to the Products sold are and remain the exclusive property of RCI and Remi Cointreau group. All exploitation rights are exclusively reserved to it. Under these conditions, no one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, distribute or use for any reason whatsoever, even partially, the intellectual property rights, without prior written consent of the RCI. The brands and logos of the Supplier are registered trademarks. Any reproduction therefore constitutes an infringement. RCI remains the owner of all intellectual property rights over the photographs, presentations, studies, drawings, models, prototypes, etc, produced (event at the Customer’s request) for the supply of the products. The Customer therefore refrains from any reproduction or exploitation of said photographs, representations, studies, drawings, models, prototypes, etc, without the express, writing and prior authorization of the Supplier.

The Website as well as any content composing it (including the brands, logos, images, videos, texts…) are protected under the title of intellectual property and/or data bases. They are the property of RCI or its partners.  

Any use, reproduction or representation of the Website or any of its elements composing it are forbidden and shall engage the liability of their author, except in case of prior agreement from the RCI.  

 

F) Liability 

We reserve ourselves the right to, at any moment, suspend, interrupt or limit, without notice, access to all or part of the Website, or delete any element.  

RCI shall not be held liable for any damage or consequence resulting from the use of the internet network, in particular in case of maintenance operations, breakdowns, interruptions, failures, computer viruses, display or downloading errors preventing total or partial access to the Website.  

You acknowledge that your connection to the Website is under your sole responsibility and it is your responsibility to take the necessary measures to protect your data. You further acknowledge that the RCI cannot be held liable for any damage caused to itself, to third parties or to your (or their) equipment as a result of using the Website.

G) DATA PRIVACY
We, Remy Cointreau International, collect, use and/or disclose your personal information in accordance with RCI’s Privacy Policy, available at https://sg.remy-cointreau.com/pages/privacy-policy
, to provide you with our products and services.
We may share your personal information with our related corporations and organizations that provide services to us.

H) GENERAL

1. Termination. Without limiting its other rights or remedies, RCI may terminate the Order with immediate effect by giving written notice to the customer if the customer breaches any of its obligations under these Terms or fails to pay any sum due under the order.

2. Severance. If any provision or part-provision of these Terms becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of the document.

3.Waiver. A waiver of any right or remedy under these Terms or law is only effective if given in writing and shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default. No failure or delay by RCI in exercising any right or remedy provided under these Terms or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.

4.Third party rights. A person who is not a party to the order shall have any rights to enforce its terms.

5.Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms and the order, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by the law of Singapore. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and related order.
